In 1966 R. David Wick and his family of employees began delivering dependable pest solutions to Guardian’s family of clients.  Today, as second generation owners Jeffrey and Jason Wick carry on the tradition of dependability Guardian’s family of clients has grown to trust.

R. David Wick forms Guardian Pest Control in Duluth, Minnesota

1982
Sons Jeffrey and Jason join Guardian part-time during the summers

1991
Jeffrey joins Guardian full-time

1993
Jason joins Guardian full-time

1995
Jeffrey and Jason become partners in Guardian

2000
R. David Wick retires; Jason is named President; Jeffrey, Vice-President

2001
Guardian opens an office in Negaunee, Michigan

2002
Guardian opens an office in Minneapolis, Minnesota

2009
Guardian Pest Control changes name to Guardian Pest Solutions

2009
Guardian purchases office and warehouse space in St. Paul, Minnesota

2010
Guardian opens an office in Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Guardian’s 75 full-time employees live in 60 cities across five states, serving countless homes and businesses. Each of them is trained by our on-staff Ph.D. Entomologist, and 20% of them have been with Guardian more than ten years.
